Shawn O'Keefe
Owner
Shawn is responsible for overseeing Hurricane SMS. Shawn graduated from the University of Windsor with a civil engineering degree. After graduation Shawn become President and shareholder of Michael O'Keefe Ltd. Shawn has over 25 years' experience in the civil construction industry. While Shawn's primary focus was excavation, his background, reputation, and in-depth knowledge of technology has allowed him to drive success into other facets of the business.
Max De Angelis
Owner
Max is responsible for overseeing Hurricane SMS. Max started his career in construction over two decades ago as the President of De Angelis Construction Inc. Max is an innovative and results-oriented construction professional with extensive and diverse experience in business and development spanning across Ontario and Canada. Through his commitment to excellence and a team-oriented approach, Max has been a catalyst in establishing the trusted Hurricane name.
Justin Hayes
General Manager
Justin is Hurricane SMS' General Manager. Justin has been a heavy machine operator for over 10 years and has over 7 years experience in sewer maintenance and cleaning. As the General Manager, Justin coordinates and oversees all projects. He has developed, executed, and maintained sewer programs for the City of Windsor, Town of Kingsville, Town of Essex, Town of Amherstburg, Municipality of Chatham Kent and Town of Grimsby. Justin is PACP, MACP & LAP Certified and has completed all safety training necessary to operate and be on site.

Our History
Hurricane SMS was established in June of 2016 when Hurricane Hydrovac Services acquired Sewer Maintenance Services. The purchase of Sewer Maintenance Services added 20 years of sewer video inspection and flushing experience to the Hurricane family's over 50 years of industry experience. Hurricane SMS operates with the same guiding principles as the rest of The Hurricane Group family; exceptional service and the continual strive for excellence.
